Dietary Habits: Goals and Intentions

Things to let go:

-using food as a distraction, coping mechanism, or out of boredom

-cut out processed foods (sugar and vegetable oil)

-stop demonizing nutrients

-no more food guilt

-don’t overcomplicate things

-don’t overeat

Things to hold onto:

-simplify

-slow down, give thanks

-listen to your body, do what feels right

-eat when hungry, stop when full

-cook, process, ferment, learn new techniques

-know the SOURCE

-what works for me, is what works for me

-eat for health AND pleasure

-eat in community, cook and enjoy with others
